Teresa Martin Owner of Martin's Salon
Teresa Martin is the owner/operator and stylist of Martin's Salon Studios. She began her career as a stylist in Arlington Texas, working in a very successful salon called The Hair Company. While building her book of business Teresa was given the opportunity to start competing in hair competitions.
Teresa Has Won Many Styling Competitions
She accepted and took on that challenge effortlessly, winning numerous styling competitions and a state championship. Her business ended up growing to the point that she no longer had the time to devote to competition.
Teresa Opened Her First Salon at 23
It was at that point that she opened her first lease salon at twenty-three years old with her sister, Sandra who was also a hairdresser. Teresa and Sandra owned and operated this salon with eight stylists for five years.
Teresa Opened The Parlor in Arlington
After that adventure, she went on to open the Parlor in Arlington, TX. The Parlor had ten stylist, three nail technicians, two apprentices, her partner and herself. Teresa owned and operated The Parlor for twelve years.
Teresa Has Studied Under The Best
Through the years, Teresa has studied under the best and brightest. She keeps up with the trends training herself on many different styling techniques and is experienced with countless product lines. She specializes in cutting, styling and coloring both men and women’s hair.
